CUTS & CHANGES


Zakar (Zoisite) and Fisheye are women. The scene in which Fisheye's bare chest is shown was cut.

Haruka and Michiru are only close friends. Dialogues hinting at their true relationship were cut.

The Starlights originally transformed into women in their transformation sequences. However, after a psychologist named Vera Slepoy made the outrageous claim that Sailor Moon made little boys become homosexual, the Starlights suddenly changed transformation phrases mid-season. It was then explained that the Starlights are replaced by their identical twin sisters when they transform. This, however, is impossible - identical twins must be of the same sex. In reruns,t the original transformation phrase was used throughout the series.
