(A Nightmare Which Scatters the Flowers! Return of the Evil Queen)

Underneath a cherry tree, outside of a large home in the country, baby Hotaru rocks in a crib. She looks up at the falling cherry blossoms and has a vision of Neo-Queen Serenity. "I am the person who embraces everything," says the queen. Her wings expand, and she transforms into Eternal Sailor Moon (a form of Sailor Moon that does not yet exist). She continues, "And I was a soldier born from love for all. Eternal..." The vision ends.
Hotaru smiles and laughs, playing with the falling cherry blossoms. Professor Tomoe picks up the happy baby and speaks to her. Setsuna suddenly appears behind the father and daughter and says, "Hotaru, I am here to take you with me." The baby holds her arms out to Setsuna.

Usagi stares up at the sky and decides that it is a good day. Her name is called, and the four inner senshi are shown, waiting for her. She runs to the group; everyone is happy. Usagi says that she is happy to be able to wear the Juuban High School uniform now (as she will be going to school there now), and to be with her friends. Minako and Usagi are happy to have someone else with whom to make low grades. Makoto is just happy that the entrance exams are over. The girls then point out that Rei's school has an "escalator system," so that she didn't have to take the entrance exams. Rei responds that their hardship is hers, too.
Ami says that now that they are in high school, they will have more free time! Makoto thinks about landing a part-time job, and Minako hopes to join clubs and audition to become an idol. Usagi sighs, "At last! 16 years of age will allow me to get married, too!"
Mamoru, ChibiUsa, and Diana show up and say hello to everyone. ChibiUsa announces that it is time for her and Diana to return to the 30th Century.
Meanwhile, Queen Nehellenia sleeps within her mirror realm, in perfect silence, happy that her beauty will be kept there forever. Suddenly, a mysterious feminine voice calls out to her. "It's so regrettable that your beauty is kept within this small, dark world," says the voice. Nehellenia awakens and asks who she is, and the voice responds that she is someone who will make her wish come true. With a powerful burst of energy, the voice releases her from her dream realm, and Nehellenia finds herself floating above the Earth.
Back in the park, ChibiUsa thanks everyone for coming to see her off to the 30th Century. Everyone wishes her the best, and tells her to visit again. Artemis is sobbing! ChibiUsa runs a short distance away from everyone, raises the Key of Space-Time, and yells, "Guardian of Time! Tear apart the sky and open the Door of Space-Time to me! I call your true name, the almighty god of time, the guardian of time's father, Chronos! Guidance to me! Protection to me! The path of light to me!" A pink light emerges from the sky...
From high above the Earth, Nehellenia sees the bright pink column of light. The mysterious voice shows her ChibiUsa and Diana, the inner senshi, and Usagi and Mamoru. She tells Nehellenia that she has not yet taken her revenge. Nehellenia thought that they were dead, but the voice tells her that it is true; they are all alive. Nehellenia become angry, and demands to know what the voice wants. The voice flatters Nehellenia and tells her how beautiful she is, and then says that Nehellenia should truly be the queen of Earth. She becomes angrier and angrier, and says that she cannot forgive those who locked her away!
Suddenly, a mirror appears before Nehellenia. The voices says, "That is the evil black mirror which crystallizes your hate and revenge within your mind. Now, break the mirror! Then you could achieve revenge and everything would go well! When the pieces of the broken mirror fall, extreme fear and despair will spread over the Earth which the people of the White Moon hold beloved." Nehellenia takes the mirror in her hands, as the voice continues urging her to break it. She finally shatters it, and millions of tiny pieces fall to the Earth, appearing as shooting stars.
Meanwhile, ChibiUsa stands in the bright pink column of light, called the Cherry Way, ready to depart for the 30th Century. Everyone looks up to see what they believe to be shooting stars. Ami feels that there are far too many, and Rei suddenly becomes uneasy. As they are looking up, a tiny shard of the mirror falls into Mamoru's eye. He thinks that dust has fallen into his eye, and he rubs it, but when he looks up, Usagi can see a golden flash in his eye. He remarks that they should now see ChibiUsa off...
The Cherry Way which would carry ChibiUsa home fades and finally disappears. The senshi speculate that it must be interference due to the falling stars. They look up at the sky, and Mamoru rubs his eye once more.
[Commercial Break]
The broken shards of the mirror continue to fall through the night sky. We see a tall building, inside of which is an aquarium. Michiru and Haruka stand before the glass, watching the fish swim through the water. Michiru remarks that she feels relaxed, and can stay here for hours... but Haruka says that she will feel more relaxed when she's in front of a steering wheel.
On the roof of the building, Michiru and Haruka look up at what they believe to be shooting stars. Michiru looks into her mirror, and tells Haruka that just a moment ago, she felt evil energy appear close to the moon. She can't be sure, because it disappeared right away. Haruka says that it must have been caught in Earth's gravitational pull and shattered. She then says that if it wasn't caught in Michiru's mirror, then it can't be too serious.
The broken shards of the mirror abruptly stop falling. Several other people on the rooftop cry out in pain as shards of the mirror become embedded in their eyes. One of the broken pieces even manages to become stuck in Haruka's hand. Michiru kisses the wound and spits the tiny piece of glass into her handkerchief.
Energy bursts forth from the tiny bit of glass, and Haruka knocks it out of Michiru's hand. It bounces across the pavement and grows into a female figure... a Mirror Palais Dolly. Several others appear all around them, as the people on the rooftop hurry inside the building. Haruka and Michiru stand back-to-back, surrounded. Nehellenia's voice says, "I will kill all who are affiliated with the White Moon Kingdom! You can't get away!"
Just as the Mirror Palais Dolly are moving to kill Haruka and Michiru, Sailor Pluto appears and attacks the villains with Dead Scream, shattering them into small pieces.
Sailor Pluto holds baby Hotaru in her arms and tells Haruka and Michiru that between time and space, she saw enormous twists that she has never before seen. She then tells them that she has brought Hotaru because it is getting close to the time when they will need the baby's power. Just then, the Mirror Palais Dolly begin to form again from the shattered pieces of their former selves.
Sailor Pluto puts baby Hotaru in a safe place, and Haruka and Michiru transform. The Mirror Palais Dolly begin to attack Sailor Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus, but the three fight back. Unfortunately, each time one of the villains is destroyed, the shattered pieces form even more opponents. One of them manages to grab Sailor Uranus and push her off of the rooftop. The Mirror Palais Dolly falls, while Uranus hangs on to the ledge, and Sailor Neptune quickly comes over to assist her.
Sailor Pluto screams Hotaru's name, and Neptune looks up to see that Pluto is being held by two Mirror Palais Dolly. Another one of the villains is poised to stab the baby with her long fingernails, but Hotaru's eyes suddenly open. A burst of energy is emitted from the tiny baby, disintigrating the Mirror Palais Dolly. The lavendar sign of Saturn appears on the child's forehead.
Sailor Pluto, Uranus, and Neptune stand in space with their backs together and eyes closed. Instead of uniforms, gold ribbons surround their bodies. They can feel Hotaru's energy all around them, and Michiru says that a new power has been born. The ribbons around their bodies are then changed into new uniforms, causing them to become Super Sailor Pluto, Super Sailor Uranus, and Super Sailor Neptune. With their newfound power, the three senshi attack and destroy all of the Mirror Palais Dolly.
The three women wonder about this new enemy, and about what has caused Saturn to awaken so soon. Hotaru appears behind them, now grown to the size of a small child, although she was a baby just a few moments ago. "The revolution is coming," Hotaru says.
Hotaru's vision of Eternal Sailor Moon is shown again, but this time, a dark shadow passes over the moon behind her. Lightning and thunder begin, and Eternal Sailor Moon's battered body is then shown surrounded by vines. Hotaru tells Sailor Pluto, Uranus, and Neptune that the princess is in danger.
High above the earth, an evil voice laughs...
