click for larger version Tohi-chan appears only in manga Volume 13, Exam Special #1. She is a four-thousand year old spirit from China who invades a store called Pri-Pri. Makoto visits the store frequently to purchase a sour hibiscus tea in order to keep her awake while studying for her high school entrance exams. Tohi-chan sells Makoto herbal tea, brownies, and Chinese scones for only 100 yen. Makoto takes the tea and cakes home with her. At her study group with the other girls that day, she happily eats whil saying that it doesn't matter if she doesn't get into high school. She soon passes out, and Tohi-chan emerges, saying that she has possessed Makoto with her sugar spirit. As Makoto lies on the floor, Usagi runs to her and tells her that she can't die - she has to live so that they can get into high school together, and have happy lives. This revives Makoto, who transforms into Sailor Jupiter and destroys Tohi-chan with her "Jupiter Coconut Cyclone" attack, before passing out once again.
