click for larger version Tellu is the third of the Witches 5 to appear in the anime (although she is the fourth Witch to appear in the manga). She makes her first small appearance in episode 120, killing Mimete, but then makes a full appearance in episode 121, her only episode. We first see Tellu sitting at her desk. Professor Tomoe calls and tells her that she will be taking Mimete's place, and that it is now her duty to collect Pure Heart Crystals. She flicks on the lights, and we see hundreds of plants throughout the room. Her plan is to use the plants, Tellurians, to drain energy from people around them and take Pure Heart Crystals. The plants then convert the drained energy into blossoms, and Tellu intends to use the flowers to awaken the Messiah of Silence. She sells these plants from her plant shop at incredibly cheap prices, and they do no require water, so people flood in to get one. Setsuna buys one of the mysterious plants to study it in her lab. It blooms and almost takes her Pure Heart Cyrstal, but her talisman protects her. She then goes to warn the others. Tellu gives one of the plants to Hotaru for free, who then gives it to ChibiUsa as a gift. Setsuna finds out about this and immediately destroys the plant and explains how deadly it is to ChibiUsa. Usagi, ChibiUsa, and Setsuna go to the flower shop to check out the situation and stop Tellu. When they arrive, Tellu is busy taking the Pure Heart Crystals of customers in the store. The girls transform into Sailor Moon, Sailor ChibiMoon, and Sailor Pluto and confront the villain. Sailor Moon manages to destroy all of the tellurians with her attack, except for one. Tellu brings out the last Tellurian, and pours a mysterious potion on it. It then grows into an even larger plant, a Hypter Tellurian. Tellu says that this plant is attracted to Pure Heart crystals, and since Usagi has the purest heart, it will absorb her and explode with her Pure Heart Crystal inside, killing her. Tellu then arrogantly shows the senshi a black star which contains all of the Pure Heart Crystals that she has collected. Tuxedo Kamen arrives on the scene and throws a rose at the star, shattering it and releasing all of the Pure Heart Crystals collected within. Tellu tries to gather all the Pure Heart Crystals again, but this only results in her Hyper Tellurian being attracted to her. It turns on her and attacks her, and the two end up killing each other. Tellu's seiyuu is Chieko Honda.



MANGA

She is at level 404. At Mugen Gakuen, Tellu is known as Ruru Teruno, the instructor of the school's physical education classes, as well as the school's botanical gardens. She creates a special plant called the Tellurian, which supposedly grows without water because it absorbs moisture from the air. Tellu sells the plants at Mugen Gakuen, as well as other Flower Shop Mamiana. Makoto hears about these special plants, and is suspicious. She buys one, and Minako and she are at her apartment when the begin to feel very sleepy. Minako awakens Makoto, and they find that all of Makoto's houseplants have died except for the Tellurian, which has bloomed. Makoto runs to the kitchen and grabs a knife, then cut the Tellurian to pieces. A poisonous gas is emitted from the leaves of the plant, and Makoto and Minako go to warn the others. The senshi then go to the Mugen Gakuen botanical gardens to investigate the matter. They arrive to see unconscious people scattered throughout the greenhouse. They fall to the ground, weakened by the hundreds of Tellurian flowers there. Tellu arrives on the scene and introduces herself. She explains that the Tellurians steal the souls out of people, and their energy blooms into a flower. When she gives these flowers to Master Pharaoh 90, he will be able to awaken. The senshi transform immediately, and Tellu uses her "Mandragora Buster" attack on them. Sailor Jupiter uses her "Coconut Cyclone" attack, which hits Tellu but does no damage. Sailor Moon then tries her "Moon Spiral Heart Attack," but Tellu absorbs the attack. Sailor ChibiMoon begins to cry, and feels that she needs to help her mother, but she will need a weapon to help her join the fight. LunaP suddenly turns into a wand. Sailor ChibiMoon grabs the wand and performs her "Pink Sugar Heart Attack" for the first time. It causes Tellu to transform into a monster. The Outer Senshi then make their appearance, and Sailor Pluto uses her "Dead Scream" atack to destroy Tellu.
