U Estan was the first of a new type of daimon designed to suck a Heart Crystal out of a human, swallow it, and hold it at the base of her throat until she could return to Professor Tomoe, where he would turn it into the energy required to awaken the Messiah. To take the Heart Crystal, Western had to "kiss" the victim, creating enough of a vacuum to suck it out. U Estan attacking Yousaku at Juuban Park, the set of his new Western movie, "Gunman at Red Fuji." She attacked not only him, but also three of his fans who had previously tormented Mimete by ruining a homemade cake that she planned to give him. Being outnumbered by the senshi who had arrived on the scene, U Estan captured ChibiUsa - who had been hiding in the bushes nearby with Hotaru - and held her hostage in order to escape. However, she was hit by Sailor Pluto's Dead Scream attack, and ChibiUsa was freed. She was then destroyed by Super Sailor Moon's Rainbow Moon Heart Ache. U Estan's main weapon is a 'six-shooter' water gun which fired a stream of either red or blue liquid. This liquid seemed harmless to humans, but was powerful enough to stop Sailor Moon's Moon Spiral Heart attack. She also used a lasso to pull in victims and could throw her horseshoe-shaped earrings, which would circle the victim's neck and render them unconcious. She rode around on "Silver," a half hobby horse/half pogo stick. Western has pink hair, green skin, and red eyes. She also wears a sombrero type hat with a cactus on top. Her sieyuu is Akiko Hiramatsu. She is also known as Western or U Estaan.
