Her victim was a young man named Katsutoshi Yamada, who had great enthusiasm for motocross racing. As the man was riding the motorcycle with which her daimon egg had been fused moments earlier, Taiyaan suddenly came to life, attacked him, and successfully extracted his Heart Crystal. After she was hit with Sailor Neptune's Deep Submerge, it was lost and returned to its owner. However, this was a trap set by Kaolinite, who quickly appeared on the scene. After the daimon used "Double Taiyaan," her ability to split into indentical twin monsters, she was overpowered. Sailor Uranus then tried to singhandedly rescue her partner and may not have succeeded had Sailor Moon not arrived just in time. She managed to free Sailor Neptune with Moon Tiara Action. When Kaolinite saw that Sailor Uranus and Moon did not get along well, she ordered the two Taiyaans to destroy the senshi. They used their "Chaining" attack to bind the senshi at the wrists. Due to the senshi's initial lack of cooperation, the daimons had the upper hand, but eventually the soldiers worked together to free themselves by tricking the monsters into using the Chaining attack a second time. One daimon was destroyed by Sailor Uranus's World Shaking, and the other by Sailor Moon's Moon Spiral Heart Attack. Taiyaan has orange eyes, pink hair, and grey skin.
