EPISODE 103 - Soiyaa


a daimon who appeared in episode 103 and was the first daimon to be created by Professor Tomoe according to Eudial's suggested change in strategy - by intentionally fusing an object with a daimon egg (in this case, a frame drum), and whose purpose was to protect Eudial and serve as a sort of weapon rather than to extract Heart Crystals. Soiyaa was summoned to battle Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars after Eudial extracted Maya Touno's Heart Crystal, and she succeeded in trapping the two senshi. She may have ended up defeating them had it not been for the arrival of Sailor Chibi Moon, who distracted Soiyaa with her Pink Sugar Heart Attack long enough for Sailor Mars to free Sailor Moon, who then destroyed the daimon with her Moon Spiral Heart Attack. Soiyaa carried a backpack with a fuse, and when lit, it would send fireworks shooting into the sky. When the fireworks exploded, blue sparks fell onto her opponents below, forcing them to "dance" to avoid being burned. She also had a flat drum which she threw into the air, where it would split into identical pieces and fall onto her opponents, who would crash through the membrane of the drum, thus restricting their mobility. At this point, the daimon intended to "play" her trapped adversaries with spiked "drumsticks." Soiyaa had red and yellow eyes, red hair, and greenish skin. Her seiyuu was Yuka Ohno.
