She was the product of the fusion of a daimon egg with a scarf, and was instructed by Kaolinite to seek out Makoto Kino because of the pure heart she displayed in looking up to and aspiring to be like Haruka Tenoh, who had become her image of what the ideal woman should be like. While Makoto was searching for the very scarf from which the daimon had been created in a parking lot, Scar surprised the girl by attacking and attempting to carry out her assigned task. This, however, was prevented from happening by the intervention of Sailor Mercury and Sailor Moon. Outnumbered by her Sailor Soldiers adversaries, the daimon retreated temporarily so that she might catch up with her target at a later time when the odds were in her favour. Scar suddenly appeared out of nowhere while Makoto, Haruka, and Michiru were spending time at Kaietsu Park together, and she restrained her victim and successfully extracted her Heart Crystal, in spite of a brief distraction by Haruka, who knocked off the daimon's mask by throwing a rock at her face. Scar first battle Sailor Uranus and the the trio of Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, and Sailor Venus, who were incapacitated when Scar tied them up in the fabricate of her dress. They were quickly freed, however, when the daimon was struck by Sailor Neptune's Deep Submerge. Her next attack was foiled again, this time by Makoto, who had transformed into Sailor Jupiter after having her Heart Crystal returned and used Sparkling Wide Pressure to stun the daimon long enough for Sailor Moon to destroy her with Moon Spiral Heart Attack. Scar had blue eyes with green hair and chalk white skin. She wore clothing made of long strips of red fabric which she could manipulate for a variety of different effects. The ones around her arms could be fired out as swirling ribbons with enough force to knock a person over, and the ones that made up her dress could either wrap themselves around individuals to incapacitate them or be used to form duplicates of the daimon herself in order to shield her from incoming attacks. Scar's seiyuu was Hiroko Emori.
