EPISODE 177 - Sailor Teacher


Sailor Teacher is the phage who appeared in episode 177. He was originally Wataru Amanogawa, a teacher at Juuban High School who discovered a comet called the Wataru Comet (which he privately refers to as "Francois"). The comet was to appear in episode 177 for the first time in fifteen years, and Professor Amanogawa sat as his house with Ami Mizuno, waiting for the rain outside to stop so that they could look up at the sky. Sailor Iron Mouse dressed as Nezu Chuuko to confront him at his home, pretending to be interested in the comet. Instead, she extracted his Star Seed, which quickly clouded over - not a true Star Seed. Ami emerged from the house just as Professor Amanogawa transformed into the phage Sailor Teacher. He yelled out, "Study Hard" and threw several pieces of chalk at Ami. Because she didn't want to attack the teacher whom she admired, she stood and allowed him to attack. She tried to remind him of his beloved Wataru Comet, but to no avail. Meanwhile, Taiki arrived at the house to view the comet only to hear Ami scream. He quickly transformed into Sailor Star Maker and ran to the scene, where Sailor Teacher attacked. Star Maker countered the attack with "Star Gentle Uterus," but Ami dived forward to push the phage out of the way. Star Maker didn't understand, but Ami said that she shouldn't attack, because Sailor Teacher is really the teacher that she respects the most. Sailor Teacher began to attack again with a large pointer, but Star Maker kicked it out of his hand, telling Ami that the phage is no longer the teacher she respects. Ami said that she was sure the teacher would come back, because he was a teacher who taught dreams and romance. Soon, Sailor Teacher was standing behind them to with his pointer once more, but the two senshi manage to dodge it. Meanwhile, Luna and Usagi walked through the rain and hear Ami screaming. Usagi quickly transformed into Eternal Sailor Moon. She suddenly appeared at Professor Amanogawa's house to find Sailor Teacher attacking again. Sailor Teacher attackeds Eternal Sailor Moon by throwing hundreds of pieces of chalk at her. He says, "Go to a desk! Open your textbook! Open your exam book!" As he was about to attack with his pointer, Star Maker attacked him with "Star Gentle Uterus," this time hitting him and knocking him to the ground. Star Maker told Ami not to worry; she has simply reduced Sailor Teacher's power by half. Eternal Sailor Moon took the opportunity to use "Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss" to heal the phage, causing him to transform back into Wataru Amanogawa. His Star Seed descended back into his body.
