EPISODE 009 - RAMUA:


click for larger version Ramua is a female youma under the control of Jadeite in episode 009. Her objective is to help him gather energy from humans in order to revive Queen Metallia. Ramua assumed human form and opened a clock store, Clock Look, where she posed as saleswoman selling very inexpensive clocks and watches for between fifty and seventy percent off the normal price. These were extremely popular, and several people purchased timepieces, including Ikuko Tsukino, Naru Osaka, Haruna Sakurada, and Gurio Umino's mother (who actually bought seven). These timepieces actually caused the owners to become extremely stressed and impatient, and think that time was moving much faster than it actually was. Their extreme strain increased their output of energy. The energy was then collected by Ramua and Jadeite for the Dark Kingdom. A large portion of Tokyo was thrown into chaos due to the frenzied nature of the victims. Sailor Mercury and Sailor Moon discovered the true nature of Clock Look, and went to investigate. Sailor Moon used her "Moon Tiara Action" attack to temporarily open a hole in the store's main door so that the senshi could enter. Ramua then went through a giant clock in the middle of the store, and the Sailor Senshi followed. click for larger version They found themselves in an alternate dimension where time was completely unstable: it could move faster or slower, or even forwards and backwards! After a lot of searching, the Sailor Senshi finally found Ramua. Unfortunately, Sailor Moon's energy had been drained, and she was no longer able to move her legs. She fell to the floor. Ramua then emitted a burst of yellow-green energy at Sailor Mercury, paralyzing the girl by "stopping her time." Next, she tried to stab Sailor Moon with her spear, but Sailor Moon dodged the attacks. Outside, Tuxedo Kamen heard yells coming from inside the clock, and figured out that the Sailor Senshi were inside. He threw a rose at the clock, causing Ramua's energy to be drained. Meanwhile, Sailor Moon regained her own energy, and Sailor Mercury was no longer paralyzed. Sailor Mercury used her "Sabão Spray" to create a dense fog, and Sailor Moon destroyed Ramua with her "Moon Tiara Action" attack. After Ramua's destruction, the store disappeared. In her human form, Ramua was a beautiful young woman with brown hair and pale skin. As a youma, she had chalk-white skin, dark purple hair, and yellow eyes with tiny black pupils. Her ears were pointed, and she had red makeup lines coming from her eyes. She also had a black star on the right side of her face. In both forms, she wears a red dress and black collar. Ramua's seiyuu was Eiko Yamada.
