In accordance with Kaolinite's orders, she sought out a young violinist with a pure heart by the name of Takuzo Igarashi, whose dedication to his instrument had made him an ideal target. Suddenly coming to life while he was in the middle of a violin and piano recital, Octave first used her sonic attack to render the entire audience unconscious and then successfully extracted the Heart Crystal of her now senseless human victim. In her attempt to escape with the stolen Pure Heart, the Daimon left the auditorium and wa promptly confronted by the Inner Soldiers - who had been attending the concert in their civilian identities. She quickly incapacitated them and might have succeeded in eliminating had it not been for the timely intervention of Tuxedo Mask. Though greatly outnumbered by her senshi opponents, Octave quickly went on the offensive, goading them with the knowledge that they could not use their magical
attacks on her for fear of hurting the unconscious victims inside the auditorium behind her, especially after Sailor Jupiter's missed Sparkling Wide Pressure attack caused massive damage to the entrance of of the building. Nevertheless, the monster was taken by surprise by Sailor Neptune's Deep Submerge, but recovered and immediately launched a counterattack against Neptune which missed its mark due to a last minute save by Sailor Moon. Sailor Uranus then struck the daimon with World Shaking, stunning her long enough for Sailor Moon to destroy her with Moon Spiral Heart Attack. Some of Octave's powers include the ability to fly and a sonic attack, in which she played the violin strings on her costume with a bow, emitting high pitched, destructive waves from her open mouth which could shatter glass, render individuals unconcious, or even shattering solid stone. Octave has black and yellow eyes and chalk white skin.
