EPISODE 011 - MUURIDO:


click for larger version Muurido is a female youma under the control of Jadeite in episode 011 to help him gather energy from human beings in order to revive Queen Metallia. Muurido masqueraded as the Dream Princess, the mascot of the newly opened amusement park Dream Land. As the Dream Princess, she kept park visitors entertained with a variety of mechanical animals, which were controlled via the apple she held in her hand. She also had a "show" at the park's Candy House, to which she invited all park guests. When guests arrived at the house, they were immediately given various sweets. The Dream Princess then appeared and opened her mouth to emit a red gas. The red gas caused visitors to hallucinate and begin dreaming. Once they were dreaming, the youma collected their energy for Jadeite. Ami Mizuno was the victim of one of these group energy-draining sessions. She had come to the park with Usagi, Rei, and Luna to investigate a recent rash of mysterious disappearances of park visitors.

click for larger version When Ami and Rei went to the candy house to find Ami, they found the doors locked. They quickly transformed, and Sailor Mars blasted away the door with her "Fire Soul" attack. Once inside, they met the Dream Princess, who said she had been waiting for them. She blew the red gas towards them, causing them to hallucinate and believe they were in a field of flowers. The Dream Princess then tried to put a wreath of flowers on Sailor Moon's head, but Sailor Mars knocked it away; in reality, the wreath was a snake. The snake fell to the ground and turned to stone, but before it did, it bit Sailor Mars and caused her arm to turn to stone as well. She managed to use her "Akuryou Taisan" attack to free herself of the snake's poison, then demanded that the Dream Princess reveal her true identity. She spun in the air and changed into her youma form of Muurido, then emitted the red gas again. Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars fell for her illusions this time, believing themselves to be riding a carousel with Tuxedo Kamen. Luckily, the real Tuxedo Kamen arrived and knocked away Muurido's apple, which she had been using to collect the girls' energy. The girls ran away and found Ami, who transformed into Sailor Mercury and used her "Sabão Spray" attack to create a fog in the area and confuse the youma. Sailor Mars then used her "Akuryou Taisan" attack to immobilize her, and Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars used a combined form of their "Moon Tiara Action" and "Fire Soul" attacks to finally destroy Muurido.

Muurido has several interesting abilities. When she opened her mouth, a red gas shot out and caused all those around her to hallucinate and dream about different surroundings and situations. While they were dreaming, Muurido would steal their energy for Jadeite by collecting it in an apple she held. In her human form as the Dream Princess, she had light pink, curly hair and light blue eyes. She wore a gold tiara and a pink, blue, and white dress trimmed in gold. In her youma form, her hair remained the same, but everything else changed. Her skin was greenish-yellow, and she had joints like a doll or puppet. Her eyes were green, and she wore a black and red dress.
