EPISODE 005 - IGUARA:


click for larger version Iguara is a a female youma under the control of Jadeite in episode 005 to help him gather energy from human beings in order to revive Queen Metallia. Iguara assumed human form and opened a pet shop called Pet Shop Perfume, where she sold furry, rabbit-like creatures called chanela. Each chanela had its own unique scent, although they all smelled like perfume. They did not need to be fed. These cute animals would hypnotize the customers that bought them, causing them to spend huge amounts of time with their new pets. The individuals would become increasingly apathetic as their pets drained them of energy, and eventually, as a result of the chanela's influence over them, would be transformed into reptilian monsters much like Iguara. One evening, Iguara summoned all of her victims to the pet shop and was just about to send them on a mission to spread the chanela all over Tokyo when she was click for larger version interrupted by Sailor Moon's appearance. An angry Iguara sent her army of monsters after Sailor Moon, but the Sailor Soldier managed to restore them to their human forms with "Moon Tiara Stardust." Iguara then went after Sailor Moon herself and actually managed to capture her with her prehensile tail, lifting her into the air and choking her. Iguara was eventually destroyed when Luna told Sailor Moon aim her "Moon Tiara Action" attack at the youma's weak spot, a glowing patch of scales near the base of her tail.

In human form, Iguara was quite pretty. She wore her brown hair in a loose bun, and had a beauty mark just under her right eye. She wore an aquamarine long-sleeved dress. In her youma form, she had blue scaly skin and a long tail. She looks like a reptile with claws and green eyes. Her brown hair came down to her shoulders, and she wore no clothing. Iguara's seiyuu was Yoko Matsuoka.
