She sought out Ami Mizuno because of the Pure Heart she displayed in questioning the direction her life was headed in. Just as her victim was about to go for a swim, the daimon emerged from the water, attacked Ami, and attempted to take her Pure Heart, but was prevented from doing so by the arrival of Luna, Artemis, and Sailor Moon. Kaolinite ordered her to incapacitate her opponent, which she did, and after taking the Pure Heart, she began attacking Sailor Moon, who plead with her to return her friend's Heart Crystal. Tuxedo Kamen arrived, and after Kaolinite discovered that Ami was not a carrier of one of the three talismans, Doburin was ordered to destroy her opponents. Tuxedo Kamen struck her in the back with his extending cane, and she was knocked into the swimming pool. When she resurfaced, Luna and Artemis punctured her inner tube with their teeth, which caused her to nearly drown. She escaped the pool, but was still destroyed by Sailor Moon's Moon Spiral Heart Attack. Doburin has red and yellow eyes and chalk white skin, with no hair except for her blonde eyebrows.
