EPISODE 038 - BLIZZAR

Blizzar was a youma who appeared in episode 038. Kunzite was attempting to find out Sailor Moon's true identity and trap her, as well as obtain the Ginzuishou. Knowing that the "girly" Sailor Moon would be attracted to an ski event called the Moon Princess Contest being held at the Moonlight Course ski resort, he brainwashed the contest's host, Saeko Yamamoto into working for him, and he gave her special youma powers. Once the skiers took off, Saeko followed them and used her powers to manipulate the course, making it much more dangerous. Soon, all of the skiers had fallen except for Rei and Usagi (who had no control over her skis). Saeko realized that one of the two girls must be Sailor Moon, so she trapped them in a large chasm from which they were unable to escape, although Yuuichirou Kumada attempted to save them.

Saeko soon transformed into Blizzar and confronted the two girls and Yuuichirou, although she mistakenly believed Rei to be Sailor Moon because of her "good looks, athletic ability, and gracefulness." She then attempted to blast Rei with icy air, but Yuuichirou stepped in the way to protect his friend and was turned into a solid block of ice. The girls quickly transformed into Sailor Senshi. Blizzar was surprised that both of them were Sailor Senshi, but she acted quickly and threw a large icicle at the girls. Sailor Mars attacked with Fire Soul, but the youma was able to easily dodge the attack. As she moved to throw another icicle, Endymion appeared and stopped her. He flung it back towards the youma, saying that he would take care of the Sailor Senshi. He then threw a sharp, pointed rose at Sailor Moon. She managed to dodge it, but he said that he would not miss the next time. Sailor Mars tried to remind him of when he fought on their side before, and how he loved Sailor Moon, causing his black rose flicker red for an instant. Suddenly, Blizzar leapt through the wall of the chasm with an enormous spear made of ice, intending to stab the Sailor Senshi. Endymion threw his red rose through the air at her, breaking the spear and causing her to fall. Blizzar was stunned enough for Sailor Moon to use Moon Healing Escalation on her, causing her to transform back into Saeko Yamamoto.

Blizzar's seiyuu was Yuko Sasaki.
