Fiore is the villain in the Sailor Moon R movie. He is an alien who has been traveling in space
alone, without knowing for how long. As a child, he came to earth. Weary and lonely, he lay
in the pouring rain until an Earth child came and held an umbrella over his head to protect him
from the rain. He then passed out, and when he awoke, he was in the Earth child - Mamoru's - bed
at the hospital. Mamoru, too, was lonely, as his parents had just died, and that is why Fiore
was drawn to earth. However, his body was not fit for the planet's atmosphere, and he soon had
to leave. As a goodbye present, Mamoru offered him a single red rose. Fiore promised that he
would one day return when he had found the most beautiful flower. He returns as promised, but he
has been possessed and corrupted by the evil alien Xenian flower. He finds Mamoru and learns
that he has a girlfriend, and his emotions are swayed by the Xenian. He send his flowers to
Earth to take humans' energy, and the senshi meet him in his alien form. He recognizes Mamoru's
girlfriend, Sailor Moon, and attacks her because he believes she will leave Mamoru and make him
lonely. While protecting her, Mamoru is injured. Fiore then abducts him and takes him to the
meteor headed towards Earth (which is actually the Xenian's seed) and encasas him in a crystal
device that will heal him, at which point Mamoru remembers him. In the ensuing battle between
the senshi and Fiore, Mamoru injures Fiore while protecting Sailor Moon. He feels betrayed, and
decides to crash the meteor into Earth, which will kill them all. Sailor Moon uses the
Ginzuishou to show him the truth of the past, then transforms into Princess Selenity and uses
the power of the Ginzuishou to keep the meteor from burning up. She saves everyone, but loses
her own life in the process. Fiore thanks him and Sailor Moon for saving him from the Xenian
and offers a flower to him - he kept his promise. He tells Mamoru to give its nectar to Sailor
Moon. As he does this, she is revived, and Fiore changes into a child within a sphere of light
and vanishes into space. Fiore's seiyuu are Hikaru Midorikawa (as an adult) and
Tomoko Maruo (as a child).
