ANIME

CereCere is a member of the Amazones Quartetto, minions of the Dead Moon Circus. She is known as the Magician of Flowers. She and the other members of the Quartetto fully appear first in episode 150, taking the place of the failed Amazon Trio. They became members of the Dead Moon Circus when they were playing in Elysion, the dream world, and Nehellenia came to them in a mirror, telling them that for awakening her with their beautiful laughter, she would give them power and the ability to dream forever, never growing old. She turned their dreams into Amazon stones. The mission of the Amazones Quartetto is to find the beautiful dreamer with the Golden Mirror containing Pegasus. When she finds a target that interests her, she will do anything to get that target to claim the job. The members of the Amazones Quartetto tease Zircon and Zirconia endlessly, and would rather play than work, but Queen Nehellenia always continues to pamper them and give them more power. When Nehellenia captures ChibiMoon, the girls of the Quartetto steal her away and replace her with a doll because they want to play with Pegasus. They are caught, and as punishment, their powers are to be granted to Zirconia. They were faced with a decision: they could either die as their powers were drained and given to Zirconia, or give up their powers and grow up to be adults. They choose to become adults, giving up their powers. In the end, they help the senshi retrieve the stolen Golden Crystal away from Queen Nehellenia by replacing the crystal with a small golden pineapple when the Queen isn't looking. CereCere is very feminine, has expensive tastes, and can often be bossy or sly. She tries to act mature and keep everyone focused on their work, and often yells at Pallapalla for being childish. In the Dead Moon Circus, she performs as a trapeze artist, and can often be seen on her trapeze swing. Her colour is yellow, although her Amazon Stone is pink, and her senshi counterpart is Sailor Venus. Amazon Stones are very powerful, but CereCere only uses hers once, attacking the senshi with "Shot Gun Ball," causing the Stone to fire dozens of yellow cueballs at them. She even uses VesVes's Stone in episode 163 to make a hole in Nehellenia's wall. She also uses flowers in her attacks, and even her Lemures resemble flowers. She often plucks the petals of flowers to help her make decisions. CereCere's seiyuu is Yuri Amano.

MANGA

CereCere appears in Act 34, Volume 12 of the manga, with the other members of the Amazones Quartetto. According to the Materials Collection, she is the oldest and the tallest of the four girls. The members of the Quartetto are actually the members of the Sailor Quartetto, a group of girls who have vowed to become the guardians of Sailor ChibiMoon when she becomes a true soldier. Until they are needed, they are put into a deep slumber. Queen Nehellenia finds them and awakens them prematurely, surrounding them with nightmares and forcing them to

do her bidding. Sailor Saturn sees through the nightmares, and rescues them when Nehellenia's palace is crumbling. She urges Neo Queen Serenity to heal them with the power of the ginzuishou, which she does, returning them to their true forms as the Sailor Quartetto, with CereCere becoming Sailor Ceres. They tell their identities to the senshi, and then go back into their slumber to await the time when they are needed to protect Sailor ChibiMoon. CereCere's color is yellow, and she is the leader of the Amazones Quartetto. She prefers to observe rather than attack, and usually does the talking for the group. She works as a trapeze artists in the Dead Moon Circus, and is often seen on a swing, surrounded by flower petals.
