ANIME


Calaveras appears first in episode 60. She is the second oldest of the four Ayakashi Sisters. She and her sisters came from the future in Rubeus's UFO to find the 'Rabbit' - ChibiUsa. She attacks Crystal Points in the Tokyo of the past, which is our present time. She is matched with Sailor Venus of the Sailor Senshi. She wears a bow in her hair, has a similar colour scheme, and even carries a whip for her attack, which is similar to Sailor Venus's chain. In episode 72, she and Petz make an attack on the Sailor Senshi. Rubeus had given Petz a stick to increase her power so that she could find out the true identities of the senshi. The senshi tried to tell her that Rubeus was only using her, but she wouldn't listen. Rubeus appeared to them and said that he did not really care about any of them. With that, Petz suddenly became quite hungry for more power, and attacked Calaveras, trying to kill her along with the senshi and her other sisters. Calaveras was convinced that her sister was no longer herself, and with the aid of Sailor Moon, she helped her sister. Calaveras and Petz were healed together with Sailor Moon's Ginzuishou. Calaveras's attack is called Dark Beaut (Dark Beauty). Her seiyuu is Akiko Hiramatsu.



MANGA


click for larger version Calaveras appears first in act 14, volume 04 of the manga. She is the second oldest of the Ayakashi sisters. Her mission is "Code 004: Operation Re-Birth." She seems to be rather close to Rubeus. Calaveras has the ability to channel the spirits of people into other bodies. She channels the spirit of Rubeus into her own body, and goes to Tokyo to attempt to brainwash the humans there. She tells them to listen to the Black Moon, not to trust the White Moon, and to click for larger version destroy the ginzuishou. Sailor Venus appears, and Calaveras channels the spirits of Sailor Mars, Sailor Mercury, and Sailor Jupiter through Kotono, Asanuma, and Naru, and then the spirits of her three dead sisters. Together, they use their Spirit Energy Attack on Sailor Venus to hold her captive. Sailor Moon, having just been rescued from Rubeus by Tuxedo Kamen, quickly arrives on the scene and destroys Calaveras using Moon Princess Halation, effectively freeing Sailor Venus.
