PGSM BIO

Ami Mizuno is a brilliant 14-year-old girl with an IQ of 300. She is a second year student at Juuban Junior High, in the same class as Usagi Tsukino. She is very reserved and shy, and a bit of a loner. Because of this, she finds it very difficult to make new friends. In Act 02, she finds Usagi's stuffed cat, Luna, on the street. Usagi invites Ami to lunch, and discovers that the two share a common interest - the pop idol Minako Aino. Soon after meeting Ami, Luna tells Usagi that the young genius is actually another Sailor Guardian, Sailor Mercury. Usagi, very excited about the news, tells Ami about her destiny as a soldier the next day. Ami feels that Usagi is only being her friend because of her destiny as a Sailor Guardian, and refuses to help her fight. She tells Usagi that she has too much work to do for school. Luna insists that Ami must fight, but Usagi does not want to force her into anything. However, when Ami and Usagi are being attacked by a youma at Ami's cram school, Ami changes her mind. Ami is falling off a building ledge when Sailor Moon grabs her to try to save her, though both girls are slipping. Ami then realizes that Usagi is genuine, and transforms into Sailor Mercury to attack the youma. Ami is very shy, and has never had a real friend in her life. She does not even enjoy much interaction with her mother, who is a very busy doctor. Her friendship with Usagi and Rei is very new to her. She aspires to be accepted by the other girls, but must first learn to be herself. In Act 05, she learns that forcing yourself to be someone you are not for the sake of your friends is a major mistake. The shy young girl wears glasses because they make her feel more confident, although she can see without them. When she transforms into Sailor Mercury, her glasses disappear. Usagi works to convince Ami that she does not need the glasses - she only needs to believe in herself. In Act 20, Ami feels very lonely. All of her other friends seem too busy with other pursuits to pay attention to her. Kunzite takes advantage of her loneliness, and appears before her. Despite her attempts to protect herself, he casts a spell on her causing her to become Dark Mercury, a formidable opponent to the other senshi. She continues to be the enemy of the other Sailor Guardians until Act 28, when she finds that she has hurt Sailor Moon. She is so distraught by this that she is healed by her love for her friend, and Kunzite loses her. She has no memory of the events that occurred while she was in her evil incantation, but feels guilty nonetheless for hurting her friends.

Mercury Power! Make-Up Sailor Mercury's transformation, which first appears in Act 02. Her wrist band begins to glow, and she appears wearing nail polish. She puts her hands into the air and spins, and her boots glide on. She waves her hand around herself, bubbles following. As she slides her hand across her forehead, her tiara appears, and a giant bubble bursts in the background. She then poses and makes her introductory speech.
Mercury Aqua Mist Sailor Mercury's first attack, which appears in Act 02. She holds up her wrist band, which begins glowing and creates her symbol. The symbol then appears in the background. Before the symbol, she spins around as bubbls surround her. The bubbles gather energy, and Sailor Mercury then shoots the bubbles at her opponent.
Shining Aqua Illusion Sailor Mercury's second attack, which appears in Act 09. She holdes up her hands and crosses them several times. She then holds up her left arm, while extending the right arm to her side. She switches her arms' positions and bends down to gather energy. Once she finishes her attack phrase, she blasts the collected energy at her opponent.
Dark Power, Make-Up! Dark Sailor Mercury's transformation, which appears in Act 21. Ami's evil wrist band begins glowing, and dark petals fly around her body. The petals then transform into the bows on her fuku. She then stomps her foot into a puddle of water, causing more dark petals to create black tribal designs on her boots. She then creates her tiara and poses to make her introductory speech.
Moonlight Attractive Attack An attack performed by all of the Guardians together in Act 28. Sailor Moon holds up her Moon Stick, while Sailor Jupiter, Venus, Mars, and Mercury hold up their Star Tambourines. Their power comes together to form an attack.

PGSM ITEMS

	Bracelet A silver bracelet worn by Ami which allows her to transform into Sailor Mercury. It first appears in Act 02. When she transforms, the bracelet turns into the Jewelry Star Bracelet.
	Crown Karaoke Passport A card carried by Ami Mizuno which permits her to access a secret room in Crown Karaoke. It has the Mercury symbol on it. It first appears in act 02.
	TeletiaS Sailor Mercury's cellular phone given to her by Luna in Act 03. She can use the phone to take a picture of any person, and then transform herself to look exactly like that person, as a disguise technique. The phone also works as a regular cell phone, with which she can communicate with other senshi and Luna.
	Dark Jewelry Star Bracelet A bracelet worn by Ami Mizuno which allows her to transform into Dark Mercury, after a spell was put upon her by the Dark Kingdom. This item first appears in Act 21.
	Dark Sword A sword used by Dark Mercury. She created this sword in Act 22 from an icicle, in order to use it against the senshi.
	Star Tambourine A special device given to Sailor Mercury by Artemis in Act 26 after the true identity of the Princess is revealed. It increases her attacking abilities.
