Fire Soul
One of Sailor Mars's attacks. She spins around and pulls her arms in front
of her with her index fingers together, then pulls her fingers close to her face. A
stream of flames comes from her two pointed index fingers, and spirals towards the
target. It appears first in episode 10. |

Akuryou taisan
The attack that Sailor Mars uses that employs anti-evil scrolls from her temple.
She holds the scroll and yells, "Rin, pyou, tou, sha, kai, jin, retsu, sai, zen. Akuryou
Taisan!" She then throws the scroll at the target. This stops the target's movement
long enough for another attack to be used to destroy it. She can use this attack even
when she is in her civilian form, as Rei Hino. It appears first in episode 11. |

Fire Soul Bird
One of Sailor Mars's attacks. She holds an anti-evil scroll in front of her
face, then puts her two index fingers together in front of her. This is similar to her
"Fire Soul" attack, but the flames hit her scroll and turn into a flaming bird. It
appears first in episode 54. |

Burning Mandala
One of Sailor Mars's attacks. She spins and traces a circle of flames around
her in the air with her index finger while turning in a full circle, spreadding her
arms to the sides. She then pulls her hands in front of her. The flames of the circle
transform into eight small circles of fire with symbols in them. They disappear, and a
stream of fiery rings shoot from her hands. The symbols in her attack are actuall
Buddhist symbols. They stand for the eight corners of the earth - the North, the East
Northeast, the Southeast, the South, the Southwest, the West, and the Northwest. It
appears first in episode 63. |

Mars Flame Sniper
One of Sailor Mars's attacks. She holds her hand out in front of her, and
the Sailor Mars symbol appears in her palm. Flames shoot out of her hand and become a
large bow and arrow of fire. She shoots the arrow at the target, engulfing it in flames.
It appears first in episode 152. |

Ofuda
Ofuda are the anti-evil scrolls from Hikawa Jinja that Rei uses in her attack "Akuryou
Taisan" to ward off evil spirits. She yells, "Rin, pyou, tou, sha, kai, jin, retsu,
sai, zen. Akuryou Taisan!," then throws a scroll at the target. It stops the opponent's
movement long enough for her to use another attack to destroy it. Ofuda first appear
in episode 011.

Transformation Pen
This is the first transformation pen that Rei receives, and she uses it in order to
transform into Sailor Mars with "Mars Power, Make Up!"

Communication Device
The communication device is a small, flat, computer-like object that is used by the
senshi in the first season in order to communicate with each other. This item first
appears in episode 017.

Wristwach Communicator
A communication device that is worn on the wrist of each of the senshi in order to
communicate with each other. It first appears in episode 062.

Star Power Stick
This is the second transformation stick that Rei receives, and she uses it to transform
into Sailor Mars with "Mars Star Power, Make Up!" It first appears in episode 062.

Crystal Change Rod
Rei's third and final transformation stick, which she uses to transform into Sailor
Mars with "Mars Crystal Power, Make Up!" She and the other Inner Senshi received their
wants in episode 143, when they finally decided to trust Pegasus.
