Luna - Cat Form
Luna is a talking black cat who is Sailor Moon's guardian. She helps Usagi Tsukino (Sailor Moon) in various ways throughout the series. She appears first in Volume 01, Act 01.

Luna - Human Form
In the manga, Luna becomes a human on three separate occasions. First, in Volume 11, when Super Sailor Moon uses the Holy Grail to allow her to become human for just one night, so that she can be with Kakeru. She transforms again in Volume 14, due to the power of the Ginzuishou, and finally in Volume 17, when the cats are attacked by Tin Nyanko.
