YUSUKE AMADE:

Yusuke Amade appears only in the anime, in episode 006. He is a famous jazz pianist who works for Jam Records. Usagi first learns about him because Naru is a collector of his CDs. Yusuke is actually in love with Akiko Yanagi, a worker at Jam Records. He makes a demo tape of a song called "A Waltz for Akiko," but it is accidentally left in the recording studio. Akiko goes to get the tape, but mistakenly picks up a tape from the Dark Kingdom. The youma Cyrene is in charge of the tape, and because Akiko mistakenly picks it up, Cyrene follows her. Akiko puts the tape into a case that says "A Waltz for Akiko," and takes it to Yusuke. Yusuke had titled the song "A Waltz for Akiko" because of his feelings for her - he has also brought her flowers, because the day that episode takes place is actually also Akiko's birthday. Unfortunately, Akiko doesn't realize that Yusuke has feelings for her. Later, as Cyrene is chasing him in the rain to try to retrieve the tape, Yusuke bumps into Usagi in the street. He tells her that he's being chased by a youma, and gives her his card. She's surprised to learn that he's actually the famous pianist! She follows him to a jazz club called 30 Thirties, where he has a job playing piano. When he leaves, Usagi continues following him, and he is attacked by Cyrene, who takes the tape and flees. The two pursue the youma because Yusuke wants the tape back. Eventually they come upon Cyrene in the Jam Records studio. The youma has taken Akiko hostage to try to get the tape. Yusuke helped to rescue Akiko, and Sailor Moon eventually destroyed Cyrene. Later, Usagi hears from Naru that Yusuke has gotten married. The name of the woman whom he has married is never given, but it is assumed to be Akiko. Two of Yusuke Amade's CDs are shown in the episode: Rain From the Heart and Moonlight Lady, which has a silhouette of Sailor Moon on the cover. Yusuke's seiyuu is Norio Wakamoto.

Naru Osaka owns this CD, and it is seen at the end of the episode, when Usagi and Naru are listening to it in Naru's bedroom. This CD has a picture of Sailor Moon on the cover, and a special message written in Japanese that says, "For the young girl fighting for justice."
	A Waltz for Akiko A Waltz for Akiko is the name of Yusuke's song that is found on the demo tape that is lost during episode 006.
