click for larger version Yumiko and Kuri are minor characters from the first season of the Sailor Moon series. They are both classmates of Usagi's at Juuban Junior High School. Yumiko has long, straight hair, while Kuri has a much shorter haircut with bangs. The two girls primarily act as "filler" characters until other Sailor Senshi are introduced, often providing information about new places, people, and events. In most episodes, the girls are not named (not even in the credits), but they do appear often nonetheless. They usually appear together, but they appear separately at times. They are both actually named in episode 007, when they are hypnotized by the youma Derella and take part in the Cinderella Caravan talent search. Yumiko (who is called Yumi this time) appears later in episode 025, when she tells Usagi about Crane Game Joe.

Yumiko is voiced by the seiyuu Chieko Nanba and Seto Mayumi. Kuri is voiced by the seiyuu Masami Kamiyama and Etsuko Nishimoto.
