click for larger version Juuban Municipal Nursery School was a local nursery school that appeared in episode 053. The baby Manami was one of the students there. When his mother came to pick him up one afternoon, the Cardian Amaderasu attacked the school in an attempt to steal energy for Ail and An. Energy was stolen from all of the mothers and babies at the nursery school, hospitalizing them all. Manami was the only one who was safe from the attack; his mother was holding him, and was able to protect him to some degree. After the attack, the school was not seen or mentioned in the anime again.
