EXTERIOR


click for larger version Usagi lives in a two-story house, which is quite uncommon in crowded Tokyo. The large size of the house indicates that the family has a larger than average income. The house is surrounded by a very tall pink and white fence which contains a small yard with several trees and bushes. The house itself has a red roof. It appears to be yellow in the first episode, but is white in subsequent episodes. It is situated between several taller buildings. A small one-car carport can be seen on the right side of the house. Sometimes the carport is shown with a car inside, and sometimes it shown with no car inside. It is unclear how cars enter and leave the carport, as there is a chained gate covering what appears to be the entrance from the street. The house's front door is brown with a small window in it. The house has many windows.



USAGI'S ROOM


click for larger version Usagi has a large bedroom of her own. When ChibiUsa appears, she and Usagi initially share a bedroom, but ChibiUsa eventually gets her own bedroom. Usagi's bedroom can first be seen in episode 001. It appears many times in many other episodes. The room has two windows on one wall, a door on one wall, and a large closet covering an entire wall. The walls with the windows and door are usually observed to have pink and white stripes, while the other two walls are solid blue or light green. Usagi's bed lies underneath the two windows, facing the closet. At the head of her bed, there are several shelves and a dresser. Several books, movies, and dolls are often seen on the shelves. One prominent feature of Usagi's room is her alarm clock, which is shaped like a white chicken, and can be found on a shelf at the head of her bed. The bed itself has a pink frame. It is covered by white sheets and pillows, and a purple blanket with yellow crescent moons, pink stars, and white rabbits on it. click for larger version A short, square table is next to the bed, and several pillows can be placed around it for seating. This is where Usagi does homework or other projects, and where the senshi often congregate for discussions. The room has a shelf in one corner, and another shelf against the wall with the door. The walls have several framed pictures on them, but few are shown in detail. A picture in a red heart frame can be seen near the door, but the picture cannot be made out. Usagi's room is generally shown to be clean and tidy, but in some episodes, it is seen in quite a mess. The floor seems to be carpet.



SHINGO'S ROOM


click for larger version Shingo's room is first shown in episode 005, but is shown in greater detail in episode 018. A window can be seen against one wall, while a door and large closet are seen on the opposite wall. Shingo's bed is in front of the closet. It has a click for larger version white frame with white sheets and a large teal-striped blanket. A bookshelf is at the head of Shingo's bed, which has a model airplane on the top shelf. Across from the bed and under the window, there is a small desk where Shingo does homework and other projects. A larger, taller bookcase is behind Shingo's desk, against the wall with the window. There are a few posters on Shingo's walls, including a poster of a space shuttle next to his closet, and a map of Japan behind his desk. His room is generally observed to be neat and tidy.



IKUKO & KENJI'S ROOM


click for larger version Ikuko and Kenji's room is first shown in episode 016, when Usagi sneaks in to steal her mother's favorite curtains in order to make a wedding dress for a competition with them. Viewers see very little of the actual bedroom in this episode. The bedroom is briefly shown again in episode 081, but again, very little detail is shown. We see the couple sleeping in separate beds. Both beds have white frames and white sheets. Kenji's bed has a blue blanket, while Ikuko's bed has a dark pink blanket. Ikuko has a light pink pillow, while Kenji's is white. Their beds are very close together. A night table is behind the beds which has a lamp on it.



DINING ROOM


click for larger version The dining room in the Tsukino household is first shown in episode 001, but more detail is shown in episode 003. The walls are white, while the floor is shiny yellow tile. There are several windows on the walls, but this is not the only source of light: a large yellow lamp hangs above the table, and smaller lights have been installed in the ceiling. The dining room has a door leading into the kitchen, and a window peaks into the kitchen. The table in the dining room is a square brown table with five matching chairs: two on each of the sides, and one at the head of the table, where Kenji Tsukino sits. A clock can be seen on one wall, and a tropical plant is in one corner.



BATHROOM


click for larger version The bathroom in the Tsukino household is first shown in episode 004, but is not really shown in detail until episode 060. The floors and walls appear to be made of white tile. A large window can be seen directly over the bathtub. From the exterior of the house, bars are shown over the window in question. The bathtub itself is pink. A small plant is situated in the corner at the the foot of the bathtub.
