Rag Time

Episode of Appearance: 024 - Naru-chan's Tears! The Death of Nephrite for Love

click for larger version Rag Time is an abandoned night club that appears in episode 024. Under the orders of Zoisite, the three youma Grape, Suzuran, and Housenka kidnap young Naru Osaka from her bedroom and hold her hostage at Rag Time, hoping to exchange her with Nephrite for his Kurozuisou. Once he arrives, Suzuran and Grape immediately begin to attack him, but he knocks them away. Housenka then attacks, but Nephrite draws a sword on her and tells her that he will never give the Kurozuishou to them. He then manages to free Naru and carry her away from the scene.

The club is only shown very briefly, although it shows enough detail to give viewers a good idea of what the club looks like. The outside of the club is overgrown with weeds and vines, but the sign is still intact. Inside, tables and chairs have been knocked over after years of neglect, and there are pool balls and various other trash items scattered across the floor. The beautiful stained glass windows are also still intact, as is a large jukebox underneath the staircase.
