In Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, Ikuko is played by Kaori Moriwaka.
She first appears in
Act 01, helping Usagi prepare to go to school. Ikuko is a housewife who is very hyper
and cheerful. She is a little wacky, but always fun. She seems very young and cool,
and is a good friend to her daughter. She likes trying new hairstyles and making new
flavours of omelettes for her children to try. She can usually be found either
watching television or cooking, and Shingo (Usagi's brother) is almost always at her
side. Her husband, Kenji, is never seen during the series because he is always
working. In Act 39, it is revealed that Ikuko knows Minkako's manager, Sugao Saitou, because they were in highschool
theater together. Sugao wants to make her a TV reporter, but must film a demo of her
first. Unfortunately, youma attack and other events take place, so she isn't able
to perform to the best of her ability, and does not get the job. Ikuko lives with
her family in a two-story house located at 4-20.
