Who uses it?: Sailor Moon
The Cutie Moon Rod was the weapon that Sailor Moon used during her "Moon Princess Halation" attack. It first appeared in episode 051 during Sailor Moon's battle with the Cardian Reci. Sailor Moon's transformation brooch was shattered during the battle, but Queen Serenity soon appeared to give her a new one. Once she transformed again, she needed a way to attack the Cardian. The moon began to glow, and the Cutie Moon Rod dropped down into Sailor Moon's waiting arms. The queen's voice told her to use the weapon to "ignite the flame of hope for the future." She jumped to her feet and used "Moon Princess Halation" to destroy the Cardian.
Did You Know?
- In the ADV boxed set of the anime DVDs, the Cutie Moon Rod was referred to as the "Moon Scepter" in the subtitles.
